These Terms of Use apply to this website (erinkyna.com) and the Intimate Intelligence client portal (portal.erinkyna.com), operated by Erin Kyna.

By using this website or accessing the portal, you agree to these terms.

What these services are — and what they are not

Erin Kyna offers sexuality training, mentoring, and coaching services. These services are educational and developmental in nature.

These services are not registered psychological or psychiatric services, clinical therapy or counselling, medical or health services of any kind, or a substitute for crisis support or mental health treatment.

The client portal

Access to the portal is granted exclusively to enrolled clients. Your access is personal to you and may not be shared with any other person.

Your responsibilities as a portal user:

  • Keep your login information secure. Do not share access with anyone.

  • Use the portal only for its intended purpose — supporting your personal work with Erin

  • Do not attempt to access any other client's information or data

  • Do not use the portal for any unlawful purpose

Erin's responsibilities to you:

  • Your data is held privately and securely

  • Session notes will not be published to your portal without Erin's review

  • Portal access will be maintained for the duration of your engagement

  • You will be informed of any significant changes to how the portal operates

Zoom sessions

All video sessions are conducted via Zoom using a permanent meeting room assigned to you at the start of your engagement. Sessions are cloud-recorded for the purpose of generating session notes.

By enrolling in services that include Zoom sessions, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Sessions will be recorded via Zoom's cloud recording feature

  • The recording transcript may be processed by an AI language model to generate a draft of your session notes (see Privacy Policy for full details)

  • This draft is reviewed and edited by Erin before it is shared with you

  • You have the right to opt out of AI-assisted note generation at any time — contact Erin directly

Recordings are not shared with any third party.

Confidentiality

What you share in sessions and in the portal is held in strict confidence. Erin will not disclose the content of your sessions, your intake responses, or your personal information to any third party, except where disclosure is required by law, where there is a serious and imminent risk to your safety or the safety of another person, or where you have given explicit written consent.

Confidentiality is mutual. Session content, tools, written materials, and resources shared in the portal are the intellectual property of Erin Kyna and are provided for your personal use only. They may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without written permission.

Intellectual property

All content on this website and in the portal — including session notes, tools, questionnaires, practices, written frameworks, and the Intimate Intelligence Method — is the intellectual property of Erin Kyna unless otherwise attributed.

You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use this content for your own growth and the purposes of your engagement with Erin. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes.

Content attributed to third parties (including Betty Martin's Wheel of Consent and the research of Bancroft, Janssen, Carpenter, and Nagoski) remains the intellectual property of those authors and is used with full credit.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Erin Kyna is not liable for any decisions you make based on the content of sessions or portal resources, any emotional or psychological responses arising from the work, technical interruptions to the portal or Zoom services outside Erin's control, or loss or corruption of data due to third-party service failures.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for personal injury, death, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Cancellation and access

Portal access is granted for the duration of your program enrollment. If your enrollment ends or is cancelled, your portal access will be deactivated and your data will be retained in accordance with the Privacy Policy. You may request a copy of your session notes and data at any time.

Please refer to your service agreement or booking confirmation for cancellation terms specific to your program.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from the use of these services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

Changes to these terms

Erin reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to active clients by email before they take effect.
